Abstract
Kenworthy describes his experiences in Germany during World War II working with German Quakers to assist unaffiliated German Jews to leave Germany.
In 1940-41, Leonard Kenworthy was director of the Quaker International Center in Berlin, Germany run by the American Friends Service Committee. He worked with German Quakers to assist Jews who had no religious affiliation but were defined as Jews by the Nazis to leave Germany.
